Our new safety hooks for our well-known quick coupler systems, rotary actuators and tiltrotators meet all relevant safety regulations and significantly reduce the risk of attachments falling on your construction site.
Safety hooks
No matter how carefully you work, an extra level of safety never hurts. Our new rigid safety device – two robust Hardox® safety hooks – minimizes the risk of attachments accidentally disengaging from the quick coupler system. This ensures your equipment remains reliably secured at all times.
With this robust yet straightforward feature, we aim to ensure that accidents caused by falling attachments become a thing of the past. Our safety hooks are installed as standard on all new products — and can be easily retrofitted on existing quick coupler systems.
Visual indicator with acoustic signal
To ensure that operators can always reliably determine whether the quick coupler system is locked or unlocked, we have integrated a visual indicator in the form of a signal-colored indicator pin.
If the pin is protruding from the system, the locking bar is retracted — meaning it is not engaged.
If, however, the pin sits completely flush within the quick coupler system, the locking bar is extended — meaning the system is locked.
This significantly reduces the risk of accidents caused by falling attachments, as the operator can always see the position of the latch. As soon as the unlocking process begins or the corresponding hydraulic circuit is activated, an audible warning signal sounds in the operator’s cab.
